Omniarch and Hemköp in a project aiming at improved user experience in the mobile app

At the beginning of 2023, Omniarch was tasked by Hemköp, one of Sweden's largest grocery store chains, to enhance the user experience and functionality of the Hemköp mobile application.

The assignment included providing support for Hemköp’s development team; providing expertise, best practices, and know-how in user experience (UX), taking product ownership of the new app, and implementing agile processes.

The project focused on transforming the Hemköp mobile app into an experience that better aligned with customers’ expectations of using an app, rather than duplicating the experience on the regular site.

The goal was to improve the user experience through a new interface and thus promote smoother online purchases, which was achieved by focusing on simplified navigation and clearer paths to information. All based on input from real customers and data.
